take a look
If you have a relatively quick net connection, here’s something you might like to see. Gus Frederick, a friend from the left coast, has put one of his time-lapse photo creations up on You Tube. It features a bract of rhododendron flowers blossoming. The sequence is amazing and I’m sure most of you will enjoy it. This is my first attempt at embedding a You Tube creation in a post. Let’s see if this works!

Wow. Isn’t that something! Some little insect does a quick cameo during the festivities.

Cathy – Yes, isnt it neat! And yes, I saw that little insect too — just for a fleeting moment during the action.

Great video!
Does youtube work ok on dial up?

Peter – It’s not too bad on dial-up, but can take a long time to download a movie before it can play. I think this one may have taken about 5 minutes on my connection. I asked my mom how long it took on her high-speed connection, and she said it just played (*sigh*). (-:
