Milbert’s Tortoiseshell
April 3rd, 2006March 31, 2006 — at the farm.
While walking in the woods, I found many tiny moths among the poplars, and one Milbert’s Tortoiseshell (Nymphalis milberti) butterfly. A few tentative Peeper calls were heard in the same area.
